ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Glenn Waggner: Practicing architecture has Wagner fascinated by cityscapes. In his painting practice he subtly and humorously manipulates the reality of beach towns, restaurants, bars and other urban atmospheres. Wagner enables the viewer to feel, for a moment, grounded in the realism and then dreamily adrift in the perplexity of each scene.

Rhonda Burton: The patterns of leaves, petals and tree bark in her Grandfather’s garden fueled Burtons fascination for the natural world. In adulthood the nature she sees during mundane occurrences transforms her daily outlook of life. As an artist, with a background in painting, Burton aims to create photographic imagery that appear painterly. She archives this appearance by printing her close cropped compositions on acrylic backed with brushed aluminum.

Eris Sharon: Old European architecture and expressionist artists: Matisse, Lautrec, Van Gogh and Gauguin influence Sharon’s line quality and palette. She creates textural paintings with strong contour and divided space by applying clay in addition to and sometimes in the place of paint.

Dave Reeser: As a Non-objective artist Reeser’s works are entirely about visual language. The movement and layering of his water color paintings and woodcut prints create vivid atmospheres reminiscent of artists Klee, Miro, and Kandinsky.
