Located in picturesque Ojai Valley, Old Creek Ranch Winery is Ventura County’s only rural winery. Situated on an 850-acre cattle ranch, a winery has been on the property since the late 1800’s, with Old Creek Ranch Winery established in 1981.
From Los Angeles, a short 90 minute drive gets you out of smog and traffic-ladened freeways, leaving stress behind and into the quietude and peaceful ambiance of the Ranch. After three years of extensive renovations, we are now open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays offering premium wines to enjoy while relaxing in our beautiful guest areas with handcrafted lounging chairs and comfy couches.
Semi-private guest areas are designed for the enjoyment of your wine while relaxing with friends and family surrounded by lush landscaping. Bring a picnic to enjoy on one of our many picnic tables on several large grassy areas. Dog and kid friendly! Have a try at one of several Cornhole boards!
Wine tastings are available every day we’re open, often offering as many as 12-15 varietals to select from. Varietals include Albariño, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris, Rosé, Barbera, Carignane, Grenache, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Franc. We currently outsource our grapes from the Santa Barbara and Paso Robles areas; however, we are now in the process of planting the first eight acres of vines of what will eventually be as many as 40 acres of vines at the Ranch.
Soon to be open is our new 2,000 square foot tasting room as well as a boutique featuring crafts and products made by Ojai Valley artisans. Once open, the boutique will also offer bottle purchases on the days wine tastings aren’t available.
