My purpose is to be an observer of life, to better understand myself and my place in the world and to create deep spiritual connections to myself and those around me. Experiencing moments of soul to soul connection.
Dogs do this naturally without effort. They satisfy our desire for unconditional love and bonding that mirrors our own images of hope. A dog is your friend, your partner, your defender. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
Plato said "a dog has the soul of a philosopher." My portraits are created with these ideas in mind.
