Details and guidance on how you can contribute to the Creative Meditation committed to serving the Common Good can be found in our Auditorium. \nMeditative Walk \nExplore the path in the International Garden of Peace for a Meditative Walk. Beginning at the Portal\, the path winds around the property and through a plant garden to the Viewpoint overlooking the Ojai valley. \nGuided Meditations \nEnjoy guided audio meditations on the Universal Principles and Pathways\, which are the foundation for a New Civilization and the mission of Meditation Mount. Each principle and pathway is engraved on boulders throughout the garden. You are invited to experience Meditation Mount’s Sanctuary for a Sunset Sound Meditation to be conducted in our beautiful Auditorium with Sisters in Sound\, DeAnna Carpenter\, and Kelly Jean Anderson. \nCome join us as we are infused by the vibrations of joy\, beauty\, and peace. This allows the body\, mind\, and spirit to rejuvenate. \n“The best way to get into the meditative state is to begin by listening” – Alan Watts \nThe Meditation Mount gate will open 30 minutes prior to the event start time\, allowing guests time to center themselves and connect with the land. \nPlease note that the event time listed includes time for community connection and to explore the property and the International Garden of Peace.   \nThe audience is invited to bring yoga mats and blankets. You are invited to join us at Meditation Mount for a yoga and sound meditation Thursday evenings at sunset. The experience will be led by yoga teacher and healer\, Lyndsay Pennington of Mountain To Mat\, overlooking the beautiful Ojai Valley from our gorgeous viewpoint. \nThis is a time to connect with your mind\, heart\, and body in the picturesque garden surroundings. The session will begin with a peaceful yoga flow\, integrating breath with gentle movement suitable for all ages and levels of mobility. We will close with a meditation accompanied by crystal singing bowls. \nPlease bring your own yoga mat and any props you may find useful\, such as a bolster\, pillow or blocks. A former media executive for over a decade\, Lyndsay’s yoga and meditation practice helped her cope with the high stress and “always-on” environment.  In 2018\, she went on to study Yoga and Healing Sciences at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles\, California. Great for photos!\n\nNo reservations required\, no restrooms. $10/bundle – upick. We are a petite farm\, come enjoy a sweet upick\, sit and sip lavender-lemonade. Take in the beauty of the Upper Ojai Valley. Every Froguary\, its an orchestra and the sound is so soothing. We planted lavender in early 2000 without a vision\, only to plant drought tolerant plants that would out compete weeds and add total beauty. The bloom was so beautiful it had to be shared. Since then\, its evolved into a beautiful garden and we try to improve the experience annually. You will be introduced to the petite organic upick farm\, with 600 lavender plants\, offering three main varietals to bundle. English Hidcote\, French Provence and French Grosso\, and upon your arrival you will have a demonstration and education. As you prepare to exit the property\, a tiny boutique with homemade lavender products is your last stop to settle up. The little house is surrounded by shady trees to sit under and sip lavender lemonade and soak in the sweet summer breeze. There are no restrooms on the property. Hats\, closed-toe shoes and a camera are all thats needed. We offer baskets\, scissors and twine. It’s a great way to start your day\, and head into the beautiful Ojai valley.
