DESCRIPTION:“Elemental” Art Show to Feature Work of Six Local\,\nExtremely Diverse and Talented Ojai Artists\n  \nOjai\, CA – “Elemental” An art exhibit featuring the work of six talented Ojai artists will run from\nApril 2nd to April 30th with an opening reception Sunday\, April 16th \, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at The\nOjai Art Center.\n“Elemental” will showcase a diverse range of artistic styles and mediums\, all inspired by the\nfour elements of nature: earth\, air\, water\, and fire. The six participating artists: Ingrid Boulting\,\nCarlos Grasso\, Gretchen Greenberg\, Susan Griffin\, Thomas Hardcastle\, and Mariana Peirano\,\nhave created thought-provoking and visually stunning pieces that explore the power and\nbeauty of the natural world.\nCarlos Grasso uses paint and paper or found objects on canvas to create vibrant mandalas and\ntextured panels that evoke dynamic energy. While Gretchen Greenberg takes a more tranquil\napproach with her pastel paintings and wood sculptures that capture the fluidity and serenity of\nnature. Mariana Peirano’s magical paintings capture the earth and humanity in their true forms.\nSusan Griffin’s pastel and charcoal works manifest the beauty and spiritual significance of the\nfour forces of nature. Ingrid Boulting’s paintings embody strength and grounding energy as she\nuses shadow and light with true passion. Thomas Hardcastle&#39;s larger-than-life mixed media\npieces represent the ever-changing nature of our world featuring fire\, media and apocalyptic\nscenes.\nThe “Elemental” art show promises to be a must-see exhibition for art lovers and nature\nenthusiasts alike.
