DESCRIPTION:Upcoming Tree Walk dates will be:\nSaturday September 9\, 2023\nSaturday December 9\, 2023\nSaturday March 9\, 2024\nSaturday June 8\, 2024 \nMeeting time: 10: am \nMeeting Location: Starting at the corner of N. Ventura and W. Oak Streets in downtown Ojai. \n  \nJoin consulting arborist and Ojai Trees board member Jan Scow for a free “tree walk” around town. Jan will lead a small group for an hour long tour of some of the notable trees that share our streets and landscapes in Ojai. He will discuss their issues\, their characteristics\, benefits they provide\, tree safety\, etc. Questions are welcomed! \n\n\nWear comfortable walking shoes\, a hat\, and appropriate clothing and bring water. Walk will be at a brisk pace between selected tree stops. \n\n\nNo dogs please. \n\n\nChildren are welcome\, but the little ones need to be kept safe\, as we will be walking in the streets at times. \n\n\nPre-registration with a waiver of liability will be required. \n\n\nDon’t be late!
