DESCRIPTION:Join us as a volunteer and learn how to plant trees the right way so that they will flourish for years to come and add to our urban tree canopy. \n\nWe’ll meet up at at the lower Libbey Park parking lot to form our crews\, receive instructions\, and locations. Planting should be finished by noon. All Covid Protocols at the time will be observed. You must register to volunteer. \n\nSign up to volunteer or order a tree at trees@ojaitrees.org \n​ \nFALL  2022 Planting Dates: \nOctober 8 planting. Last date to order tree(s) is September 28. \nNovember 12 planting. Last date to order tree(s) is November 2. \n  \n  \n  \nWhat is Ojai Trees?\n\nOjai Trees is an Ojai Valley community forestry group that welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds who want to do something tangible to help the environment. Our vision is a healthy community forest that is sustainable for future generations. Our goal is to inspire people to take personal responsibility for the community forest by participating with us. We are all-volunteer 501c3 registered non-profit organization.

DESCRIPTION:OJAI HOLIDAY HOME TOUR & MARKETPLACE\nSaturday and Sunday\, November 12 and 13\, 2022 \n  \nOjai Holiday Home Tour returns on November 12 and 13 with four Ojai Valley homes that represent the eclectic and diverse home living of this charmed setting. Presented by the Ojai Festival Women’s Committee\, this year’s treasured tradition will feature four properties of varying architectural styles and sizes: B Hill Farm\, Hacienda Moderna\, Casa de Indigo\, and Downtown Casita\, and each adorned with floral holiday inspirations\, ranging from Thanksgiving to Christmas. \n\nThe companion event to the tour\, the Ojai Holiday Marketplace\, helps kick off the holidays in Ojai’s Libbey Park with 40-plus vendors and artisans to complete the gift-giving season\, from fashion and accessories to home and lifestyle items. \n \nThe Ojai Holiday Home Tour and Marketplace is a benefit for the Ojai Music Festival and its BRAVO education and community program\, which offers free music workshops to the Ojai Valley public schools and the community. The Admission to the Holiday Marketplace is free and open to the public. \n\nWeekend hours of the self-guided home tour and marketplace are 10am to 4pm. \n\n  \nThe advance Holiday Home Tour price is $45 per person\, and $50 day of the event. A group discount is available for 6 or more people. Organizers request no cameras allowed on the tour or children under 12 years of age. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended (no high-heeled shoes allowed).  Free shuttle service will be provided for one of the homes for the convenience of the patrons.
