DESCRIPTION:Novels & Longer Narratives (NLN) Workshop\nThis workshop is for those who already have a body of work (which could be a bunch of free-writes\, journal entries\, etc.) and want to develop longer narratives (novels\, short stories\, plays/screenplays\, hybrid forms) within community. Participants will provide thoughtful responses to others’ work and find their “core story”. Writers will share their work with one another and dive deeply into analyses of narrative elements like theme\, emotion\, character arc\, scene\, and style. Through craft talks\, examinations of powerful short stories and novel excerpts\, writing exercises\, and uniform participation\, the workshop will generate approximately 80 pages of new work and build community.\n  \nWhen: Saturdays\, Feb. 25 – Apr. 22 (skip Mar. 11)\nTime: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM\nWhere: Zoom
