Ojai Valley PEACE DAY

Motto: “MAY PEACE FLOURISH WITHIN US, AMONG US & GLOBALLY”

All residents are encouraged to display PEACE Signs- and Artwork in their front yards on Sunday and the following week and to invite friends & neighbors over to a PEACE FEAST!

In a collaborative and inclusive spirit we are planning the following activities:

  8 – 9 AM:   Meditation Mount… Peace Meditation

10 – 12 AM:   Interfaith Churches… Peace Services

11 AM:      Farmer’s Market… Peace Music

12 – 3 PM:     International City of Peace Celebration at Libbey Park Fountain area: 

          Speakers, musical performances, PEACE ART exhibit, 

                     children’s art & play activities.

 6 – 8 PM:     PEACE FEASTS at local restaurants

 7 – 9 PM:     Dancing for Peace @ Sane Living

Note: The Jewish Community Ojai will conduct a Peace Service on Friday, September 16, 

          6 – 7:30 p.m.
