On Sunday, February 12, The Ojai Retreat will celebrate its 31st Anniversary. Since 1991, The Ojai Retreat has offered around 1,000 cultural and educational events to the Ojai community, and hosted over 20,000 attendees. These events have mainly been in the areas of Spirituality, the Environment, the Arts, Health, Education, and Community issues. Our intention has always been to represent “The Spirit of Ojai“.
The Ojai Retreat is also a very beautiful getaway with 12 bedrooms on a 5 acre property. It is located on the hill behind the Ranch House Restaurant. The majestic views of the Topa Topa mountains create a beautiful and silent setting, which is often called “The True Ojai Experience“. The Ojai Retreat & Inn has now become very popular, which is reflected in its occupancy rate (90 – 100 %).
Many local groups organize their own events, fundraisers, conferences and weddings at The Ojai Retreat. An Ojai resident recently said “The Ojai Retreat is my preferred place. I cannot imagine Ojai without The Ojai Retreat anymore” !
We are so grateful to be able to serve the Ojai community for over 31 years now, and aim to continue being a special place that supports local groups and organizations for many more years to come!
With your help, The Ojai Retreat plans to realize the 2 following projects in the next 1 – 2 years:
1. The upgrade of the Outdoor Event Center with a stage, lighting and a sound system so that concerts and theatrical performances can be organized by The Ojai Retreat and local community groups.
2. The integration into the Ojai City limits so that more rooms can be built.

There will be an Indian Dinner on the Mountain View Patio, music by Musician and Composer David Post, a Hula Hoop Performance by a professional sacred dancer, and Retrospective & Future Plans by the Director, Ulrich Brugger.
$50 per person, $35 for seniors and students
