The Joy of Local Giving to be Celebrated with Springfest!

Ojai Women’s Fund invites women interested in supporting local nonprofits to attend.
Break out the pastels, put some flowers in your hair, and join #Ojai Women’s Fund for “Springfest!,” an event open to any woman wanting to learn more about Ojai Women’s Fund, local giving, and how to become a member. This year’s theme is “All of US Together,” and it celebrates the giving women of Ojai.
Everyone wishing to attend must RSVP by noon on May 2 to receive directions to the “#SpringFest!” location. Refreshments and libations will be available for everyone. RSVP at ojaiwomensfund2.org
“Joining OWF opened up Ojai to me,” said Gayle Whitaker, co-chair of the #OWF Membership committee, “allowing me to meet so many women who I would never have had the chance to meet otherwise. Instead of just sending in my donation, I’ve become an integral part of it. Unexpected, indeed! I joined OWF and never expected to meet so many incredible women–super talented, professional, friendly, and warmly welcoming.
“Come! All are invited—members, friends, and those interested in what we are all about, which is to educate both old and prospective members of the mission of OWF.”
Since its inception seven years ago, Ojai Women’s Fund has become a force in the Ojai Valley community for giving to nonprofits to enable deserving residents the opportunity to live happy, productive lives. Grants focus on five areas of giving: social services, health services, education, the environment, and the arts.
Everyone is welcome!
Any woman wanting to become more involved in life in the Ojai Valley is welcome to come, network with members, and see how to contribute to OWF’s good works. Ojai Women’s Fund wants every woman who desires to help our community to join an organization that’s now given grants of over $600,000 to nonprofits delivering services to the Ojai Valley. It doesn’t take much to join, just as little as $100. But over 400 women’s contributions can make an impact.
